Position Description:
A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will evaluate patient conditions, develop treatment plans and help restore day to day function while accommodating their needs and creating achievable goals for their patients, document and record the patients condition and educate patients and families.
Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):
- Primary responsibilities will be to evaluate patient conditions, assist in developing treatment plans, and help restore day to day functionality
- Provide personable solutions to our clients to accommodate their needs
- The PTA assists with restoration of patient functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability
Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):
- Current New York State Physical Therapy licensure—mentorship is provided - new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Responsible, caring, and dedicated Physical Therapists who enjoy helping patients and making a great impact in their personal development
- Effective and engaging verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to comfortably interact with people of diverse backgrounds
